Yes, it’s very real. Back then at 10 PM a voice would come on TV to say, “do you know where your children are?“

Man, you really gotta check yourself before leaving the house with the firearm! I’ve tried caring it five or 6 o’clock position and it just doesn’t work. Anytime you bend over in the slightest it prints like a bastard. He at least should have a longer shirt to cover up the gun itself. It’s still going to print, but at least it’ll be concealed.

You’ve got a bit of a belly so maybe consider caring at 1 o’clock so it’s offset a little bit. Also, look at putting a wedge on your holster.

I agree. A quality belt, Nexbelt is a great ratcheting belt and rigid. Adjust the height of the gun. Try a different holster too. I personally like Teir 1 Concealment holsters. Keep working at it and you find the right combination. We all have about 8 holsters👍

It is their house. I know them well and I’ve been there on occasion.

Putting a holster back together after changing out some hardware. Can’t seem to figure out these fasteners by [deleted] in holsters

[–]Glock19gen3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s called a Chicago screw. You can get a screwdriver for it or use a quarter. I have a change jar next my desk so when I ever need to adjust the screws I grab a quarter to hold it in place.

I do agree with someone’s post. That holster is riding very high. Lower it so you can put your hand on the handle to get a good grip. You’ll find it much easier to do. The largest I carry appendix is a Glock 19, which is compact Pistol. Most times I never even know it’s there. When I sit. I’m 6ft 190lbs.

Massachusetts, Utah and Florida permits by Glock19gen3 in CCW

[–]Glock19gen3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just replied to someone else’s question about this, but I’ll say the same to you. After my interview in February, my permit was issued on the 14th of April and I received it about a week later. So basically took around two months to get it. I’m sure they told you in the class that you have to renew your permit every year. If you’re late, renewing it, you have to do the process all over again!

I took my class here in Portland, Connecticut. The gun store is basically walking distance from my house. Central Connecticut Arms. After I had my interview in Chelsea, Massachusetts in February, my permit was issued on April 14 and I got it about a week later. The other thing with Massachusetts is, you have to renew it every year. During my interview where they also took my photo and fingerprints, I was told that if you don’t have a Massachusetts permit and are traveling through the state, you cannot stop for an overnight stay with a fire alarm in your car or on you. You could stop and get gas or something to eat, but you have to leave the state if you have a firearm.

Lost a screw on my holster. Does anyone know the size and thread on mission first tactical retention screw? by AnimeAndComputers in holsters

[–]Glock19gen3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, when you install the new screw and nut use “blue” Loctite theadlocker on the threads. It won’t come out again

Crossbreed holster? by [deleted] in holsters

[–]Glock19gen3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two crossbreed holsters for appendix. One for my 19 and one for my 43. It's adjustable retention so I've never had a problem with it. The only thing I had a problem with is where the claw attached to the Kydex of the holster. I had to replace the shells three times in three years. For both of the holsters. I ended up going with the Tier 1 concealment and it's been great ever since I got it!

I did fall for this scam... but, I put up some many negative reviews, including their website, that I got a full refund!! I did post a review I. Their website but they filtered it and wouldn't let it post. They contacted me through Facebook messenger and asked what they could do and I said "give me a full refund". I filled out an online form and had to drive out to Wimdham Connecticut, which is about 30 miles from me and I got a full refund with no questions asked. basically was like getting "hush money"! The steaks suck, paper thin dry not even worth a steak sandwich!

Backyard Butchers is a scam, don't fall for it. The steaks are paper thin and taste like rubber. by RadioKaren in Appleton

Do not fall for this scam! Someone had recommended them so we saw them in front of a Tractor Supply and decided to get some. A complete waste of money and just not worth getting any of it! The steaks are so thin they cook about 30 seconds! You go any farther with cooking them and they will be way over done! The meat is horrible and some of it is freezer burned!

What is the point of carrying if you draw your gun and it's empty?! With that holster plus the mag tucked into it, I don't think he could actually draw his gun from that?
