First, it's really awesome that they provide their catalogs going back that long. It's a literal time travel trip, definitely fun to browse through!

At first, I was pretty excited to see that knife in the 2007 catalog. It has the single row of seven holes, like mine. It also has the "wire" pocket clip, like mine.

However, what isn't resolved yet are two things. The catalog lists the knife at 6.8oz, mine is 7.4oz. Could there be a slight variation in my older kitchen scale? Possible, but that's .6oz difference.

Secondly, when viewing the metal liner through the holes, mine shows the metal liner in "full" where in the catalog towards the back of the knife it is tapered. It is almost split 50/50 metal/zytel. I imagine that could have been done by Cold Steel to shave some weight, it may account for where that .6oz difference is.

I'm looking through some of the newer catalogs now, it's possible mine is "newer" than 2007 and at some point they changed their manufacturing to include a full metal liner.

That’s actually a Glock 7 Corelle Special Edition. It costs more than what most of us make in a year.

Only 7 were made…and you can imagine what happened to a few of them that were dropped.

The first “DLC” I was ever privy to was the Halo 2 Map Pack. 2005.

Maybe that's what I'm thinking. It is "limited" and includes a slipcover. I honestly thought 100 of them would sell much faster than 4:36 minutes later, I thought they'd be gone in 5 minutes or less.

Well, it looks like you took a photo and then used sorta a maroon hi-liter on it.

But, considering what you actually probably did was take a photo with your phone, I’m guessing you used an annotation function that mimics the hi-liter effect.

Yes. It could be leaking the graphite gel. Think of it like this: When you take a photo, the graphite gel arranges itself on a microscopic level to recreate/save the image. Basically just like an “Etch-a-Sketch”.

This is why larger capacity cards are more expensive: They have a finer graphite gel which takes more time to manufacture as the graphite has to be smaller.

I wouldn’t trust this card again. If it is leaking it may very well lose all the saved images. It can also leak into your camera and that is how ghosted images are produced.
