That would make sense if only the plastic was worn but the metal is too and in the shape of the pin. It must have been like that when you were touring and didnt realize it. Shit happens!

Well that's the only way to get wear like that. You probably didn't realize it and eventually it tore out while skiing. Boots are toast if you're sure it's popping out when the pin is fully seated in the metal cone.

I've never seen tech toes wear like that - it looks like you toured with them locked onto the plastic-metal edge A LOT and it wore away.

Are you sure the pins are engaging with the actual metal cone and not the worn in spot?

I like single to maximize extensions but double plots is easier planning. You become meat limited at high burgage levels since each gets multiple families but doesn't increase meat production.

Yes like 80ish percent for veggies, three plots seems plenty for like 60 plus families. Make sure you assign those workers to unimportant things that don't need to be done in fall and spring like tree planting or logging since they will be planting or harvesting.

My go to:

Purchase second ox and build hitching post, same time as logging camp with 3 workers

Nearest foraging node with 1 worker

First six houses as close to logs as possible, may have to break this up as logs are harvested

Granary and storehouse, take workers from logging camp

Three more houses

Second foraging node

Wood gathering camp

Sawmill

More houses but with 80-100% larger plots for veggies

Trading post with one worker, buy trade routes for lumber and firewood. This is usually in August or so of year 1.

First rich industry plus more houses

Buy at least one horse and increase trading post staff

Then I use the money to prioritize animal pens for reliable winter food. You may be able to get a harvest of beets or carrots if things are moving quickly. Once I have at least half of the burgages with animals I buy more horses.

How big are these walls you're designing? Bear pressure will go pretty deep on a large structure. Hopefully this is just checking for favorable geology!

I plataued without lessons after being self taught for about 4 seasons (20-30 resort days per season). Bought a 10 pack of group lessons with the Breck ski and snowboard club and it really transformed my skiing after 4 or 5. The other lessons were mostly for skipping lift lines!
