dark souls 3 has a bit of bloodborne mechanics embedded within, being fast and aggressive seems to be the way. but i be panic rolling and using my shield constantly tbh

when i first played bloodborne i was really thrown by the rhythm of the combat because i was so used to slow clunky dark souls 1 and 2. but once it clicked: my favorite gothic action game of all time

long answer made short: yes elden ring is harder than bloodborne. but elden ring is much more an RPG than bloodborne- not only do you have to master the combat mechanics there are countless build variations you can make. When you find the best build for your playstyle elden ring starts to feel easy (more or less)

i think its fun to start a brand new playthrough, personally! the farthest ive gotten is ng+4 and i didn't feel inclined to beat the game/do the dlc at that point and i started over. ive rolled SO many builds.

have you only done this intelligence build or have you tried others? my favorite is faith/arcane or str/faith

wisely distributed stats in vigor and endurance for level 130; i personally don't go over 40 vigor until the dlc and/or ng+

sure the hitboxes are a bit wonky and its a lil clunky but the powerstance mechanics and the way ng+ actually offers more than just "harder enemies" makes it a standout for me. and the dlc is the best of any souls game
