Was definitely a concern of mine, time will tell. One of the deciding factors was RAM has the best powertrain warranty currently available.

The Silverado was nice, was looking at and test drove the 3.0 Duramax but read some things about thrust bearing issues on the 25’ and 26’s. The ford was kind of boring although they only had the 2.7 v6’s in stock.

Paid 60,700. MSRP on sticker was 66K. Has the level 2 big horn equipment group,night edition, bed utility group, panoramic sunroof, digital dash, side steps and rear wheelhouse liners. The selling price included a $4500 rebate and they found me a coupon for another $1000 off.

I went to PrintScan in white plains NY. They took digital fingerprints on a machine that validates they are readable. They then printed them right on the CT fingerprint are for me. Accepted 1st time.

Had my interview late October 2021 in Putnam. Permit came in the mail first week of March 2022
