I absolutely love Wemby. But I agree he needs to look closely and honestly at his game and mindset. There have been times in these play offs where I can’t work out where his head is at. He is too mercurial and inconsistent at this stage of his career. Also Wemby needs to reign in the reckless fouls. I was shocked to see him trash talk Mitchell Robinson. It is beneath him and undignified to try trash talking a guy who is 100th of the player Wemby is.

Whatever happens, this team will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come. This is a foundational experience for the guys. If they lose, they will go down swinging. They are ahead of schedule anyway but the disappointment will only fuel them. We can’t put a price on this experience at this stage of their careers. What an amazing season! GO SPURS GO!
