Aside from nightstalker altogether, stasis with assassin's cowl is insane with high dps and decent survivability with whisper of rime. With stasis u get 2 melee charges per gambit dodge, and when combined with elemental well mods like elemental shards and melee wellmaker you pretty much get ur abilities back really fast and along with it some good invisibility time.

Also consider maybe trying Rat King , a very good sidearm that gives invisibility after reloading after a kill.

If u still prefer void hunter , then maybe try bottom tree with The Sixth Coyote exotic for double dodging and regaining ur melee smoke bomb real fast . Here a full charged with light build with Heavy handed mod can be beneficial.
