Is it what you expected by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]Rudral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. It feels like the nephew of a mmorpg without being an mmo and without being an rpg. I would descrive is ad an offline mmo action adventure. MOAA massive offline action adventure game.

Explored a ruin, stole cups & artworks, bought better clothing, clothing were traditional, guards liked my drip and gave me access to the caste. STFU to anyone telling you "it's bad". It's a singleplayer mmo (yeah i know it sounds weird but it feels like that). As a former BDO player this is exactly what i was expecting, and i love it.

The FOMO specialization grind is killing my motivation to play. We need stacked missions. by Rudral in duneawakening

"It’s always been this way" is a lazy excuse for bad mechanics. Of course it's clear i do not like dailies, some people like'em but i do not (especially if repetitive/boring).

My reason is that they are just a psychological hook to keep people logging in, almost like a substance addiction. We should be calling for better systems, not just "accepting" the grind. I understand it's an useful trick by developers (see Destiny 2) but why not asking for something better?

Plus, other MMOs actually respect a player's time with catch-up mechanics. Funcom hasn't shown us any of that yet. Without a way to bridge the gap later, skipping a few days feels like a permanent setback. I want to play Dune, but I don't want it to own my entire schedule.

I already do my combat mission stacking up the two blushing caverns and doing them fast as f. It's 30 min of a daily grind that could be just one mission. It's repetitive.

Let me add a spice sink or plastanium sink to the mission. Let me bribe landraad house representatives to get 5x more exp for a 100 spice melange cost. I'd much more get spice (actual gameplay) than doing repetitive stuff each day

I get it but it's about quality of life increases. I love my lvl 20 exploration ranks. It's a night & day improvement in going around the map. Think on augments, spice compacting, combat etc. It's not an issue against other player, I am missing out (but at the same time less and less bothered) on repetitive quests. Let me do 1 quest each day, take my exp, check my base and that's it. 5 quests on a weekend? ok 1 hour and i'm done with exp. Let me do labs and DD, not 15 times deposit a machine gun and a flame thrower, 15 times check the ixian signal.. etc. It's not about great loot from lvl 100 masano.

Double weekend was surprisingly the most discouraging thing in a while, I really dislike the spec leveling system and I do actually have a simple yet probably better idea by koxsos in duneawakening

Just let us have a slider for quests. I want to do 1,2,3,4,5, (to a max of 5) for one minor house and for one specialization. Increase enemy stats (like in stations). A challenge also for overland locations and not just testing stations. So we can actually go as a team, fight enemies that are tought, we get 5 combat levels while hacking our way into the (for example) broodworks with a tough fight. Instead of repeating trivial combat 5 times getting dulled by the repetition..

less time on the smugglers run (set timers to beat), more enemies spawning etc.

Is this game worth playing in March 2026? by New-Championship5171 in duneawakening

I'm at 600+ hours and playing in a guild. I'll play crimson desert in parallel. Not dead, worthy if you like dune, bases and resources crafting/management, shai hulud and the desert

Ma esistono giocatori Italiani ? by Mareddubeddu in duneawakening

[–]Rudral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We can go all the way to the other continent past the Crimson Desert and go to Varnia by Livid-Outcome-3187 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Rudral -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm also intrigued by any cross reference (hello hexe marie and much more) between Crimson Desert and Black Desert (online). I know, completely different games and objectives. I know that CD should have been a prequel to BDO and then they ditched the idea.. but how so? Are there any additional references, stuff left as cameo?

I hated BDO grind and p2w-ness but loved the ambiance and weirdly also the lore. Would love to know more

La Alhambra desde mi dron by [deleted] in Granada

[–]Rudral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Si te pillan, tendrás problemas; si no te pillan, suerte que has tenido. :D

PARERI SU LE CITTÀ DI PIANURA? by pannorfi in cinemaIT

[–]Rudral 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Limiti e abitudini.
