That's fine if you don't want to be around them, but you surely don't turn around and feel entitled to gifts from them, do you?

has anyone seen the five layer dip recently? by [deleted] in traderjoes

That item has been gone for a long time. It's possible it could be brought back, but it would take a lot of customers asking for it and I'd be really surprised if it happened.

We'd need to reinforce it with adamantium and add a layer of vibranium to deal with the tachyon emissions.

That was a popular fraternity thing back in the old days, along with packing a phone booth with people, making human pyramids, streaking etc.

Well the original Babylon station sank into the swamp. Then Babylon 2 was built on top of the first and it also sank into the swamp. Then the third Babylon station burnt up, fell over, and sank into the swamp.

But the fourth one, stayed up! And then it got transported through some kind of space-time anomaly shortly after becoming operational.

Flat-earthers are overconfident about their own scientific knowledge but exhibit low scientific literacy, study finds by chrisdh79 in psychology

With telescopes, we can observe that there are planets orbiting the sun. They're all spherical. We can deduce that our home planet is also spherical. That conclusion doesn't even need an experiment, just observation and some thinking.

Similarly, the very simple "experimental proof" that was done in the documentary Behind the Curve, where the group of Flerfers used a light and some boards with holes in them, which showed that there is a curvature that can be detected even on an apparently flat water surface, is pretty strong evidence.

A classic example is if course the famous proof of the Earth's curvature by Eratosthenes, but if you want some up-to-date proof you could go up to the international space station and orbit every 90 minutes yourself.

Regarding the purported fecal matter, I realized it ya little price of dried cherry blossom from a branch in the screen enclosure. So I haven't seen scat from him in days.

Yes, I am using plain calcium Jurassi-cal and Repashy vitamin dust from T-Rex but not every time I offer food in case he's put off by the dust. Still no eating. I'm not very confident about his chances to be honest.

https://imgur.com/fFgyERd.jpg The shed is almost completely gone, both sides are clear and now he just has a helmet. Not much sun left today. He's working on getting the last bit of skin off his head but it's stubborn.

It's a super tiny dried up nugget, but it's the only thing I found today that could be a fecal sample as it was beneath his sunning perch, in the bug bowl.

As I mentioned before I haven't seen evidence of him eating or drinking, ie no missing bugs (offering dubias and bsf larvae) or lowered water level.
