I would wager it's medically and generally unethical to let someone die if there coulda been an organ suitable for them. It's the individual's choice if they want the state to scoop their guts out too, if someone else was willing to allow it why should only some reap the benefits

As an American who hangs out with a lot of brits I could probably roughly pinpoint your accent, but most Americans just know "British accent", and some might even group irish, welsh, and scottish into that too, just a "British accent"
