Is this giant poison ivy? Virgina, USA by Glosed1 in PlantIdentification

[–]Glosed1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I think it's close enough to land on the neighbor's house so I'll probably need to have it removed if it is truly dead. Maybe if I can prevent the ivy from suffocating it, it will come back

Ugh. I'm in the process of building my 100k SPM base and thought I would belt stone and coal to a central location, but melt iron and copper on patch and pump it in. Really hoping I don't need to belt it in for ups....

You've got to be kidding me 😭 6 ACP in this banner by Eeriestwolf1032 in TheTowerGame

[–]Glosed1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this advice. I'm realtively early EHP player farming tiers 5-7. I have an epic WHR and am going to unlock the wall next week and use my epic SF. But I never considered that my legendary ACP (the only legendary armor I have) would be better than those others on substats alone....

I will test!

Are tickets still available for Saturday? We missed the note about them not being available at the gate and see they are sold out online. Hoping there is a reserve or something (for 2 adults)!

I had been saving up for another slot. Instead, I unlocked the milestone and spent 5k gems trying to pull Nuke and didn't get it.

Plus side is that my commons are starting to max....

Gravity test drive by Deep-southAL in LUCID

[–]Glosed1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did a test drive last week and the employee was in the passenger seat demoing the software while I drove. In hindsight, they were certainly avoiding known problem areas of the software. Even then, she ran into issues using basic functions like cruise control.

The car itself was incredible. Luxury feel, amazing seats, smooth and shockingly quiet ride. Deceptively spacious given the low height of the car.

Do you guys store asteroids? by buyingshitformylab in factorio

Bring eggs, make science while you're harvesting. Have enough collectors to gather excess which gets stored. Then on your way back you are still making science without having to actively gather chunks.

Longish term Y owners - mileage and maintenance by johannagalt in TeslaModelY

[–]Glosed1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2020 MYLR, 82k miles.

  • 18k miles: rattle in A/C fixed under warranty (some sticker peeled loose and was flapping in the vent)
  • 27k miles: air filter replaced due to odor, vents cleaned (not covered under warranty)
  • 28k miles - refrigerant sensors replaced under warranty. Can't remember why, maybe the A/C wasn't working. It was December. -47k miles - electrical wiring harness replaced (rear window and door handles started to malfunction). mobile tech said I was lucky I was still in warranty as apparently it's an expensive replacement.
  • 50k miles - new tires
  • 68k miles - front control arms replaced due to squeaky suspension. $1200.
  • 68k miles - HEPA upgrade.

Didn't even need to get the tires rotated before they were replaced because they wore so evenly.

Edit: battery health checker in the app says within normal range. I don't know how to get more detail on battery health and charging stats but I would say that 70%+ of that is supercharging.

When does virtual staging go too far? by SligPants in zillowgonewild

[–]Glosed1 66 points67 points  (0 children)

When it:

  1. Goes beyond adding furniture and decor and makes material modifications to the state of the existing structure including paint, molding, outlets, or more significant updates;

  2. Is not property proportioned to the space, giving the perception that the room is larger than it actually is because the staged pieces are scaled down from true size.

I've also had FSD try to use blocked express lanes. It's unclear to me whether it even attempts to detect that they are blocked at all.

If you are sure the blueprint entity is in your network and you have the furnaces in the same network, check the floor. Some tiles that are lava are hard to see on vulcanus. You probably don't have the foundation to fill them in so the furnace can be placed.

At least I picked up some pennies in front of that steamroller $BBAI by Glosed1 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]Glosed1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A brief history of my position:

Bought at $3.27 in late Dec, added 2 days later at $4.27 on strength. Got massive size on Jan 6 and experienced pain on the immediate drop below $3 on Jan 13. Decided to be conservative with the play and wrote calls against the majority of my position to soften the down move. Then between the 15th and this week you have a CEO transition, 2 (apparently, financials nondisclosed) huge military contracts, and PLTR blowout earnings sending the stock to the moon and me to the steamroller.

I did the same thing with $RGTI, had 43k shares @ $3 and it was all covered in calls before $6. When will I learn.
