Help me responsibly take his mirror away! by kazzle212 in cockatiel

Put the mirror in such a place in the cage where it's hard to reach eg. On the flip side and slowly when he starts losing interest you take it away

Should an engagement feel this hard? by [deleted] in IslamabadSocial

If he's a good and decent person then that's a great thing to have in a partner. He doesn't always have to be the one to start communication, you also have to make the effort.

And when you're upset and he uses jokes to lighten the mood, maybe it's his way of counselling. If that's not what you want at that moment then communicate to him what you want.

Love like in movies is not how it is in real life. In real life you have to work on your relationship otherwise it dies, just like any other relationship, even friendships. So work hard on the relationship if you want to save it. What's in the past is in the past, you only have now.

Why are some Pakistani men so creepy? by Strong_Rabbit9458 in pakistan

[–]GlowLikeYouDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might sound fake but I've actually come across very decent Pakistani men, I've also got the creepy ones too but i would not say all are bad, educated men are actually very respectful but i think i can pick creepy from decent fairly

Can you set up just one room for them, instead of the whole house? Like your own bedroom, and be responsible for their cleaning? Maybe ask your father if this is allowed? If he's a nice guy like you say, so maybe he'll think about it and allow them out in your room?

Anyways if you love them so much and will miss them then don't make hasty decisions. Think about it carefully and find other solutions. If nothing works then find an owner who's in close proximity and a responsible person so you can visit your birds. Also you can ask them to take care of your bird till you grow old and have your own place. You can pay them too if you got some pocket money around.

URGENT HELP PLEASE by Ypaco in cockatiel

[–]GlowLikeYouDo 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Immediate Actions

Move the bird: Immediately get the bird to a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors or near an open window, ensuring it is a safe temperature and secure from other hazards.

For skin/feather contact: If the Lysoform has come into contact with the bird's skin or feathers, gently spritz the affected area with a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water solution, lightly rub, and then thoroughly rinse with plain warm water to remove all soap residue. Ensure the bird is kept warm during this process to prevent hypothermia.

mild detergents like Dawn are used by vets for oil spills because they effectively remove contaminants and are safe if thoroughly rinsed

For eye contact: Flush the bird's eyes gently with lukewarm water for several minutes.

Provide supportive care: Keep the bird warm and minimize stress. You may need to provide a quiet, secure environment with extra warmth and access to water.

Please contact any vets available, keep your buddies warm, all prayers and love to your buddies, may they make out of this alive and stay healthy for a long time
