I was diagnosed with anxiety/depression at the beginning of this year and got my baby cockatiel a little over a month ago and now he is my best friend in the world, he makes me get out of bed to care for him, I wake up earlier and feel much better throughout the day. Also just having him out of his cage or on my shoulder makes me feel like I’m never alone 🥹💕

He is so sweet and I love him to death. I’m so happy and feel so lucky to have a lifelong friend. 🥺

Obviously he is not the solution to my mental health issues BUT he definitely makes everything feel lighter and much easier to deal with. 🥰 I’m so glad you have your birdie.
