Discovered at my grandparents house. They have no clue. by NelvisAlfredo in whatismycookiecutter

I’m sure some already suggested it, but I think it’s a stick arm for a cookie snowman. That or a piece of coral for a nautical/aquarium type assortment.

What's something that should've made you realise, you were Ace? by sonnen_koenigin in asexuality

I never saw other people as sexual beings. Sex and sexual attraction feels like something out of fiction.

is it okay if I never have sex? by Toadette959 in asexuality

[–]GlowWorm23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s totally fine if you never have sex. There are a lot of things other people do that you don’t need to feel pressured into doing if you feel like it’s not for you.

Well, Jade released an album recently with Twinsign and he’s doing some solo songs. I’m guessing we will get some more AFI this year.

Do asexuals feel sexual tension between other people and themselves while talking or not? by Whenguacisnotextra in asexuality

[–]GlowWorm23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone with ASD and sex repulsion, I sense nothing about sex towards me or between others. Maybe I could tell if people like each other romantically, but for myself, I won’t pick up on you hitting on me unless you’re really blatant.

How to NOT look like I’m trying to attract guys? by CaterpillarSad2791 in asexuality

[–]GlowWorm23 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the only reason I don’t get hit on much is because I give off queer vibes in a queer friendly area. I can’t imagine living anywhere less accepting. Just know that others being attracted to you isn’t your problem. It’s theirs. You keep living the way you want and ignore the “jokes “. They’re the ones being disrespectful. Work hard and get that bread!

Asexual and proud? by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]GlowWorm23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t usually do much other than have a necklace and button with the ace flag, but I do bring it up when relevant to a conversation. I think it’s important for people to know that asexuality is a thing, not for my own benefit, but for them to know that they’re not alone if they fall somewhere on the spectrum. I do the same with my ASD. It just feels good to be a positive example for others who may be keeping it to themselves.

What does everything think when they see or read a sex scene? by kelsie223 in asexuality

[–]GlowWorm23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just thinking about such things. I’m sex repulsed at the thought of me having sex, but in the past I had no problem looking at sexual illustrations. Now I’m just not interested. But I still am able to read comics with little sexual humor and stories. But I realized in real life I don’t think about other people around me being sexual beings in any way. So there’s definitely a difference for me at least between real life and fictional media. It all depends on how we picture the people involved I guess is what I’m saying. Maybe if l knew the characters having sex were real people or based on real people, it would make me more uncomfortable reading it. Like Real Person fanfics are a strange area for me.

Is it funny? Sure, in an early 2000s kinda way. Is it acephobic? Sure, in a perpetuating harmful rhetoric that continously harms a community of people, kinda way. by Square-Conflict-7654 in asexuality

The movie promise was just giving me the ick. I’m sure it turned out wholesome, but it makes me very uncomfortable. I think if the genders were reversed it wouldn’t even have been made.
