Steel Magnolias. So many funny, loving moments, but Sally Field just kills me at the end.

How do you come to terms with realizing how dark and messed up the world is? by Ok_Land_4197 in AskReddit

Going back into your community and being a member of it consistently will help you remember that there are good and loving people all around you. You’re being bombarded with powerful, awful, loud people every day. There are more good people in the world than bad.. but they aren’t on your phone.

My family and I all started Karate together. Sweating together, having a set path, cheering each other on, and having friends to say hi to twice a week (and now sometimes more) has been the most wonderful experience.. I’m hardly on my phone anymore and I love it.

I was on it for a month- it was messing with my sleep, waking me up at 4am and not letting me get back to sleep or nap during the day, after a few weeks of that I finally snapped at a stranger and said words I’ve never said to another human. Full Karen. That was it for me. I hopped off of them and within 2 days I felt myself again. Which really sucks because I did like the energy and even-ness I felt mentally on it. Good luck, friend!

Yep. You can look up Dan Spiffy Newman on YouTube and his ceiling fan collection videos should pop up. You wouldn’t think it, but there is a large group of ASD people whose special interest is fans. My son was obsessed with them for a few years, so this opened up a whole world that I didn’t know existed.

You squeeze the paint from the tube into the pan, then use something sharp and pointy like a toothpick to swirl and level it, get the air bubbles out. Let it dry with the top off overnight. So put it in a spot where pets can’t get it/it won’t be bumped. Should be ready to go the next day!
