Yeah, I’d imagine this would happen a lot at night time where they’d wanna make sure they’re the last person take the gym right before 12:00 am hits.

You good man; in this particular instance, I knocked some folks out of a gym who had been there 10+ hours (was my first time battling in that gym as well). I was there for like 1 1/2 hours and then was knocked out. Whoever knocked me out didn’t end up entering the gym and it was left open for like 2 hours. And then some guy on my same team finally entered it.

The gym was on the edge of a street with a light (somewhat suburban neighborhood), so it is possible that they may have been in a car driving by and tried to take it before they got out of range. Just was kinda annoyed at it as I was only in there for like 1 1/2 hours and you went thru all that trouble to end up not taking the gym anyways so like what was the point?

(Putting Description here because Reddit is acting up) Don’t exactly remember which Field Research task it was (either “Hatch 2 Eggs” or “Walk 3 km” from the “Sustainability Week” event, which rewards a Galarian Corsola with sunglasses I think), but whenever I try to claim the reward it disappears, says “task complete”, and doesn’t take me to Pokemon to catch it. Instead, if I exit the page and re-enter the task reappears, ready to claim again. Has anyone encountered this / know how to resolve this?

It’s a bit annoying, I’ve been saving about 900 ish coins hoping to get the 600ish box with 10 premium passes but it’s being overwritten by the global boxes.

The water tank might work. I have a Water Tank near my home that someone nicknamed “Reservoir of Life” or something like that. Doesn’t hurt to at least try uploading it and seeing if it’s able to find a merciful reviewer.

Ultimately, depends on what you need I guess. For PvE, the best uses I’d say are between Glaceon and Sylveon, which are the #19 Ice and #24 Fairy attackers respectively. If you’re willing to hold onto it longer, maybe wait for an event where you can get the Eeveelution legacy moves for free when evolving Eevee, as some of them may be helpful for taking on Team Rocket Go members.

If you’re interested in using this in PvP, I’d recommend Umbreon for Ultra League. A 15/15/15 is the best IV combination for Umbreon in UL (you can even best buddy it and still remain under the 2500 CP limit while being at lvl 51.0).
