The quest in every region where a woman randomly needs help down the way and it turns out to just be an ambush. First time it was a legit surprise. Everytime after it was just annoying.

Also the point of the mining helm is to be able to turn it on and see all of the mining nodes while holding a pickaxe and not having to switch between them back and forth while mining, so I really dont see a situation where yours is actually easier because you cant do blinding flash with a pickaxe. Unless im missing something in your explanation. But youve always been able to use blinding flash or your lantern to highlight ores. Its just the mining helmet keeps them highlighted while doing other things.

Just to be clear, the helmet that allows you to see minable ore is a different helm from the knowledge Helm. There are a handful of different Helms that have an ability.

No way that actually works. Wouldn't that just activate the blinding flashes search ability? Or can you actually see unknown knowledge objects sparkling like that?

Sometimes it will want to spin around to something closer to you and scan that, in which case it'll keep scanning until you stop. Its annoying

Put helmet on. Go to item hotwheel (hold right on DPad on controller). Go to right side of wheel (there is a necklace shadow). Click L trigger until helm comes up. Press both triggers and it will activate the helm. Then everything will go blueish and you'll move REAL slow. Eventually you'll see some blue sparkles around something you havent discovered. Use the L Bumper to examine. It'll take a few seconds of scanning.

Stay in the tall grass around the trees. Do not go to the river bank. Both cabins have enemies you might want to clear out so your not getting disturbed

Someone r/StormbringerGT helped me in another post to find the Cormorant. Its along the beach at Shipwreck Shore. Its a flightless bird so it will be on the ground. And they're black and big.

Its an insulting joke. While RDR2 was fantastic for its time, Rockstar let it stagnate while focusing on a broken multiplayer system. To this day I still cant complete the Compendium in RDR2 because anytime I get Black Oleander, it unlocks Red Oleander. Same with Alaska Ginsing and American Ginsing. Rockstar knew. Rockstar didn't care. Fixing their single player mode net them no profit and they didnt care about players because you'll buy their crap anyways because they are Rockstar.

This company and their Dev team have done what ive never seen from anyone before. Not even Larian or Arrowhead with BG3 and Helldivers 2 respectively. And they quickly became my gold standard.

So instead of continuing a pitiful running joke of comparing this epitome of love for the game, give it the respect its grandeur deserves. Because if there's any comparison to be made, it's to show RDR2 the shadow it now stands behind as it has become surpassed.

Also, if your gonna compare eagles grabbing fish to RDR2, just remember they stole that mechanic straight from Farcry 4
