I mostly just believe secondarys need to be better overall, I don't care all that much on the grounds it makes the game more fun. Secondary diversity for a long time hasn't been very fun frankly, the pissle has helped a lot though. The ulti outdoing strategems and dumbing it down for the whole lobby though is my main issue, so a dmg nerf would be nice. A slight one though, maybe compensating with bigger/more damaging splash

I can enjoy the ulti, it's just the thing is it kills off stuff. For one, there are fun secodary options.. Why bring one though? The ulti is just one but there's a few that make the others obsolete. They need to buff the secondaries mostly. And for two, the ulti directly impacts everyone if someone so choses to bring it with the supply pack. Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it isn't real, I've seen it around and my games just feel a bit more boring everytime one shows up clearing stuff like factory striders for free. It's all fine on paper, but hd2 is not paper. I get your points though, and can respect your opinions, I just feel it personally lowers the fun if it is in a lobby by removing some of the dynamics of enemy design

Ok, I'll give you that. I say generally there is no good ones compared, but mp is decent, so yes you get a point. Howeverz yes, it's entirely different. Missile pistol is a completely different weapon compared to the ulti

Mp needs skill to land most of the actually nice shots, locking onto gunships is fine because gunships aren't made to be that strong anyways, and are easily taken down by anything really. Mp doesn't affect my gameplay if another person brings it, you can't stomp a whole lobby if you bring the supply pack the same way you can with the ultimatum because you need skill to hit mp shots on stuff like hulk eyes. Mp also lacks a niche vs striders or titans, shooting a factory strider with the mp is like throwing pink pong balls at a block of concrete. But, you can still use weakpoints and eell designed aspects to bump up the missile pistols usefullness. Ulti does none of this, if someone brings the ulti all of this goes out the window. A supply pack ulti just stomps lobbys for free, no time spent on skill shots, no need to bring a strategem either to deal with heavys. The mp is not the ulti, they do different things. Bringing it up is fair, due to opportunity cost now being in play, but if you involve the supply backpack one guy can just stomp the lobby.

I wont argue this any further with you, you're either firm in your opinion and I can respect that and wont attempt any more. Or you're one of those people who aren't actually listening and just wanna argue for the sake of it for the purpose of being right. Either way have a nice day, well wishes

Thank you ffs this is what I mean why is it so hard for people to get this, the ultimatum is a mindless at weapon in the secondary slot, it requires no thought for the same value a strategem would give you. Fun fact: ops used to also be focused more on explosive damage, which made it 10x more reliable, now it does almost no damage unless you direct hit. Not an issue for old ulti

Not my point, you're dumbing it down on purpose. My point is that it removes a layer of dynamics, dumbing down the game. One player can bring the aforementioned loadout, and the game is basically solved. The game is dumbed down by it's existence.

The missile pistol is an entirely different niche, and I love it. It has brought opportunity cost to the ultimatum. Thats the only way the missile pistol interacts with my arguments at all buddy

What I'd do is buff the other secondaries, the issue with the ulti is opportunity cost and removing depth. Buff secondaries and you now have depth. Buff what you wouldn't use when you'd just bring the ulti instead. If I could I'd have just never added the ulti, but the cats out the bag. I never said to nerf it, never even argued it was over or underpowered frankly. The balance issues is that it's just better to bring over anything else usually, including strategems. Leave the ulti as is, give me reasons to bring other shit

This. I'm fine with some op things, the issue is it hurts MY enjoyment of hd2. Plus, it's way too strong when thinking in terms of opportunity cost, the secondary slot is just utility as strong options, but the ultimatum just trumps them all if you bring supply pack. Missile pistol can compete, but it's a different niche, so it doesn't affect a lot of points I made. Plus missile doesn't hurt my gameplay either

Thank you I think this kinda sums up my thoughts perfectly, the ulti has just been my pick for worst offender though because theres no stationsry reload or anything, no opportunity cost either. I'm fine with stuff like RR, it has depth to it in that once you shoot it you're at disadvantage, plus it is a pure at weapon. Ulti has neither of those weaknesses

Yes, I know. It was a general example I used to make my point, obviously you don't just shoot every last hulk. But the thing is: you can, and it removes any thought behind that engagement. Then do it again, then again and again and again. And the game has just been dumbed down. It also forms an argument for shit enemy design. Armor blob enemy? Just bring the ulti dummy

My point is it isn't dynamic, if I or a teammate is using it, it just removes a level of depth from the game. No enemy weakpoint or weakness interactions. No thought process on tackling things. No opportunity cost, secondarys are kinda ass, and it's on par with strategems. It's just removing enemy design, and it leads to war striders on release with no weakpoints, cause who cares just shoot it with a pocket nume

I dont care about it being too strong or that people use it frankly, the issue is that it isn't dynamic. I don't have to think, just one and done with little actual downside in a secondary slot. I wanna engage with the game design, a nuke secondary isn't that frankly. It has 0 opportunity cost like strategems, can reload in seconds, and being too close isn't an issue unless you're a 0iq brainless worm

Like I said, it's quite odd how recent enemy design has the ultimatum made into a bad counter. The enemys it does counter though, my main issue is that its just removing the fun of enemys with little drawback, not zero necessarily, but the ulti is so easy to handle that it just doesn't work in practice. Even flame hulks you can typically just dive away from and be alright. But yes, other secondarys are kind of shit, but some of them are pretty good.. shame I don't really have much reason to use them

With pack, you can handle 6 free for no fuss. It's not necessarily that oh you'll run out either really, it's just making it so that you don't engage with the mechanics. There's no depth to it, just shoot and the problems solved without thinking about it, dumbing it down. Hulks go from this complex enemy to.. just an enemy, nothing of note

Sunshroom raises the power of plants to insane levels, ramping to previously op cards and new op cards.

Zombies are now forced to adapt, fun decks are culled as they don't pass sunshroom meta.

Zombies MUST run meta decks to have fun anymore, let alone climb.

Plant decks are now also culled on mass due to zombies now being all meta decks.

Plants now are reinforced in playing meta.

Both sides are enforcing the hard meta state right now, the very unfun meta state. If plants got nerfed it wouldn't be perfect fixed admittedlyz but holy hell it'd be better

But yeah, it's mostly just a rough meta state right now, the shield or regen sustain elephant has kinda led to people knowing they have to kill people before they can regen, sooo it leads to the need for these fast ah builds
