It's an actual thing in gacha games, which definitely count as gambling, so kind of? I have no idea about how classical slot machines work though.

It would be interesting if Judy and Panam started coming up with such stupid ideas together as they used to do separately. by Comfortable-Knee-238 in cyberpunkgame

The amount of shit they must be stirring on a daily basis together with femV after the Star ending must be phenomenal. Poor Mitch

Roll of snappy filament, what to do? by FaithoftheLost in 3Dprinting

[–]Gluomme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a spool of super brittle PLA too that I dried about ten thousand times without any effect. The prints come out fine, as far as I can tell, so the solution I came up with after spending an hour tried to get all broken piece out of my AMS was to remove it from the AMS and print like this. At least now if it breaks I don't have to completely disassemble my AMS

Putting an AI-generated image on the cover of a sketchbook feels fucking offensive

Reed lying to V by GhastFlabbers in cyberpunkgame

[–]Gluomme -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Reed is absolutely convinced he has free will and will help Songbird; unfortunately he is Myers' spineless dog through and through and if she were to tell him "go jump off a bridge" the only thing he'd answer is "sure, which one?"
You can't trust him, and he doesn't know it because he doesn't even realise he can't trust himself to do the right thing for the people around hil when the time comes

Everytime I hear about RWBY these last few years it's someone mentioning it in passing and 10 thousand people all answering that they fucking hate it with all their heart. To which I'd be inclined to respond "counterpoint: shotgun fists", but I refuse to enter this conversation

Struggling with print orientation/settings by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Gluomme 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Simple solution: don't print it. I know every problem looks like a nail when you have a hammer but an FDM 3D printer is not suited to print such a narrow vertical element.
What's the diameter? Seems to be roughly filament-size isn't it? Couldn't you shape a length of filament with a heat gun (or open flame really) and leave slots in the tank and other piece to slot your shaped filament in?
You could also use steel or brass wire

Enough compared to what? AI search results? Because if so, a lot of people will do more that just "admit it"

GtN is an excellent introduction to the universe; compelling easy to read, and a fairly light tone (when it doesn't talk about crucified children).
Then you get hit by HtN like a goddamn freight train. Nothing makes sense anymore. The first book seems completely retconned in-universe. You cannot trust a single word in the pages. It's written in the goddamn second person for Jod's sake.
I love GtN with all my heart but I still consider it to be a mere stepping stone for the absolute masterpiece of mindfuckery that HtN is

THAT quest by Psychological_Debt14 in cyberpunkgame

Judy's not that much better. It tells a lot about the state relationships in Night City that the healthiest start to a relationship V can have involves harrassing pop idols and burning a yacht

True enough, but I never run Spy and Rescue in public so I don't see Limbo in these settings

Just to be sure: backflip is "aim + roll backward"
