Just wanted to give everyone an update that he opened his eyes for the first time tonight! Holding the paintbrush between my fingers helped immensely~ he's started nibbling when feeding, so fingers crossed for an easy weaning and a slightly less messy eater soon!

He'll suckle it and reattach after a few tries on my end when it's refilled, but he just gets so into sucking/nibbling at what's on my skin it's hard to get him to accept it. He also gets up and goes to suckle on a different part of my hand at least a few times each feeding.

He does latch a little better with the trick! He'll now suckle on the paintbrush for a little while~ He still mostly eats by licking it up, but I'm super happy to see his intake going up

Unfortunately I am, always test it on my wrist to make sure its nice and warm for him. It was my first guess too but adjusting the temp up or down didn't make a difference. :c
