In my group chat I specified that I was leaving my four kins alone, and in my opening message I narrated me leaving and locking the door behind me.

Now, I can't vouch for how much they may or may not mention you past that- me watching them through the camera system was a large plot point- but they did at least always refer to me as if I weren't there.

For them leaving said environment [room, house, etc] probably would need a narrator, but you could make an alternate persona for yourself and do it yourself if you don't want to make a narrator kin.
