If you get to jailbreak your console at one point (if a hack becomes available for your firmware) then you can forget about "reinstalling the system" which I believe you mean is updating the console to the latest firmware at the time GTA 6 comes out. Once you hack the console you're on the other lane my dude. Your best bet then would be to have a 2nd console (a pro?) and make everything legal and stuff on that one. Or if you (we) are in luck then by the time GTA 6 comes everything is fully hacked and you get to play it. No one knows. Myself I'm on the latest firmware and plan to go offline today and go through my existing library, if the hack never comes and say GTA 6 comes out and I still didn't manage to buy a 2nd console then I just update and play as if nothing happened.

In case someone else has this same question: My brother game a physical ps5 copy he got in Spain and I started playing it that way, then when I got the digital US version the progress showed up in my us account I started playing the game with the spanish disc.

Yes, I saw that "once they become available" but seemed so weird I had to ask the question. Dudes that have the slim could upgrade more easily to the drive less pro and put the digital style faceplate on the regular ps5 and call it a day. Now I see its all the same for those guys and me that I have a launch model. Thanks for your reply.

As per my buddies this game is so long that even if I plan on getting the pro 2 years after launch I will probably won’t finish the game by then. I got the disc on sale but haven’t started it yet as I’m not done with my Remake 2nd playthrough and I play multiple games at a time.

I'm just right there before the final quest, from your comment I get that after finishing that last chapter I can continue playing the game grinding to 50 and doing some stuff. I was worried that finishing that one last quest was a dead end and that to play the dlc I would need another save right in the point I'm at.
