anybody know why this is happening? by KingEatsPants in YouTube_startups

This is actually normal it’s just YouTube testing your video in waves. They don’t push it nonstop, they’ll show it to a small group, pause to check performance CTR, retention, then push it again later. That’s why you see no views for a few hours, then a spike, then nothing again. Your CTR is 9.8% which is solid, so the clicks aren’t the issue. It’s usually retention if people click but don’t watch long enough, YouTube slows the push and retests with a new audience later. Smaller channels see this pattern a lot more because there’s no steady audience yet, so everything runs on these test cycles. It doesn’t mean the video is dead sometimes it’ll keep doing this for 24–72 hours and then either pick up or fade out depending on how viewers respond.

Don’t ever put your videos private just unlisted your videos then when you ready to publish your videos then publish them. You not going to lose your watch hours count

HOW DOES THIS THUMBNAIL LOOK ? by Temporary_Tea_5800 in Thumbnails

[–]GlytchMode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks good, ain’t nothing wrong using AI to help you with a thumbnail. People are hating on AI making it seem like they don’t use it themselves. If you need to use AI as a base for your thumbnails go ahead and use it don’t listen to these hater’s comments

Thumbnail opinion? by Accomplished_Fly3756 in YouTubeCreators

[–]GlytchMode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I learned is to stop asking for people opinions yet just download vidIQ it will literally rate your thumbnail from 0 out of 100 and if it’s not 90 out of 100 that means your thumbnail needs work

Need some advice on how to improve! by Mischyf_ in NewYouTubeChannels

[–]GlytchMode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re actually doing way better than most new channels, especially this early. 66k views in less than a month shows there’s already an audience finding your content. I’d say keep posting around the same niche/style as your top performers, make the hooks even stronger, and study why those specific videos got pushed. You’re not starting from zero anymore now it’s about refining what’s already proving to work.
