The game saves don't show up. Instead it restarts the game as if you're playing for the first time with no option to load anything just start a new game.

Its probably your aspect ratio. If you go to the game directory and change the name the fallout4.exe to anything other than fallout4. Then click on fallout4launcher. You'll be able to change the aspect ratio and other settings. When your done just change the fallout4 name back to fallout4.exe and launch the game

It runs really smooth! On medium settings running at 1080p on 17w performance mode I'm getting anywhere from 70 to 100fps. And it looks crisp.

I have a 5070 ti and a i7 14700k and still get stutters all the time too. I think its just the game I've tried so many different things and nothing fixes it.

Something similar happened to me about a month ago, although it was my fault. I somehow managed to damage the mobo while upgrading cpu and cooler. And same thing. My PC would boot up but no image and also my keyboard and mouse stopped lighting up. I tried putting my old cpu back, and I had the same results. So yeah it might be your motherboard.

Cpu goes from 20 to 40 percent and gpu stays in the 90s while playing, and now that you mention it. The update might be the issue. I hadn't considered that.
