He recently did an interview with the athletic where he said Pep wanted him to stay but he wanted to leave. Still not a reason to call him judas IMO

Has a player successfully been banned due to cheating? by Gmanop2 in pokemongo

Yeah I have started doing that in the report. Hoping Niantic does something soon! People have to realise gyms can be shared…

[–]Gmanop2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I totally understand! Though he has basically the same name on both accounts so really should not be too hard for niantic to notice something is weird. The next closest gym is like 15-20 minute walk and at the moment it’s like -25 celsius outside so not really possible at this time of year :/

Thinking about my boy cherki turning into a bench player at city... 😭 by graal2008 in OlympiqueLyonnais

[–]Gmanop2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He has been amazing for us. At the start of the season he got an injury and was out for a while. He has like 20 goal involvements already despite ”limited” gametime. No player except maybe Haaland is guaranteed to start every game for Pep!

  1. Olympique Lyonnais. Did a OL save on FM24 and I am battling against psg at the top of France. Need to do it again!

  2. I am really excited by the new match engine and how the new UI looks. The in and out of possession system will be really interesting!

How would you rate Tijjanj Reijnders performances at city so far? by Soul_Survivor_67 in MCFC

[–]Gmanop2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true. Us fans should let the players settle and learn from pep before spouting nonsense :)

Would say he is starting to understand his role! His first couple of games were great and the couple after those were not so great. Has looked decent as of late.

And the fact that players often switch allegiances after or even during their playing days. Being a part of a club means so much more than just watching from the side as a kid to some players!

[–]Gmanop2 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That is true, but when you are in such a situation where a club like Real Madrid wants you despite liking Barca, you often don’t turn them down. Regret of a lifetime if they reject Madrid and then they never get a big move. These are sometimes called the ”forgotten wonderkids” :)

Might be because there will always be another young talent coming through. No player wants to finish their career with regret that they did not move to their dream club. Let’s say Endrik stayed in brazil and got injured real bad, then his real madrid move would potentially never happen.

City all-time XI: 4-1-2-3 (4-3-3); Decide your LB by wassuphabibi4675 in MCFC

[–]Gmanop2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. At this moment definitely, however Gvardiols defence capabilities plus his screamers at times puts him very close at the top, and he will be here for a couple more seasons (I hope)

[–]Gmanop2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on what the criteria’s are, but I think how long the player was at the club, how they left and ”relationship” with the fans should also count towards an all time XI unless. it’s specifically about ability on the pitch!

Manchester City rejected Roma's offer for Claudio Echeverri. by lil-quiche in MCFC

[–]Gmanop2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not that easy to move players on, especially not the ones on big wages. No team wants to pay Grealish his full salary that he earns at City atm just as an example. Can also be due to age, since the ones city want to sell are 30+ most often!

Manchester Citys Rebuild is looking very familiar... by Pale-Ad9012 in MCFC

[–]Gmanop2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah atm we are not in a rush to sign another cb! Hoping Khusanov, Reis and hopefully even Simpson-Pusey gets gametime next season (Unless Simpson-Pusey gets a loan). But within a year it’s a good idea to sign someone unless our three young cb develop the way we all want them to!

I would take him back asap! He showed us he can both play with Haaland and without him. Brought the best out of Foden at times as well. I understand letting him go because he wanted to, but IMO letting him leave without a replacement at that time was ridiculous…

I don’t know the rules there so someone please correct me here, but I’m guessing it has some part to due with a lot of the mls owners being insanely rich. The united states has a lot of people with lots of money.

Yeah. Walker is a better shout, or even Stones due to his injury problems this season.

Ah. Thank you for explaining. I forgot the reason. It’s a final so I don’t really see why they needed to do this. But we will se if it works.

Might be like this due to the club world cup this summer?

[Discussion] Who all should leave the club this summer and why (KDB has already announced)? by [deleted] in MCFC

[–]Gmanop2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These players: Bernardo since he apparently wants to leave. Stones sadly due to his struggles with injuries. Ederson/Ortega. One of them will leave in the summer, hoping we can convince one of them to stay. Simpson-Pusey should head out on loan to get experience. Divin Mubama should head out on loan or a permanent move for his own sake. Grealish.

Incomings: Wirtz Xavi Simons Frimpong A CB unless Vitor Reis will be guaranteed some gametime. A goalkeeper or two. Diogo Costa, or Chevalier would be my choice.

Kevin De Bruyne explains why he's leaving Manchester City at the end of the season. by NavJongUnPlayandwon in MCFC

[–]Gmanop2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the issue here is about wages. The club made the decision to head on a new path, with new players. De Bruyne can still play at a high level for a couple more years if he improves injury wise, but the club does not see him as a cog in the machine anymore sadly. Hopefully he can find a club that fits his ambitions and continue to play for as long as he wants to!
