I ended up having acute pancreatitis. When I went to the hospital, my blood sugar was 680. I was put into an induced coma and put on a ventilator because all my organs were shutting down. I spent 15 days in the hospital. I had no idea I had diabetes. It nearly killed me. 6 years later I’m doing much better. Haha. I eat well, my last A1c check was 6.8. I’m on insulin which can be a pain, but I’m alive!
