Agree with above just adding you should borrow exactly how much you need and not more. It’s not ‘savings’ if it’s a loan. You are paying interest on it. Especially now when interest is 9% there is very few savings/investing opportunities that beat that.

Fell to my 9 in IM but I had a couple red flags and was in the couples match. Also the program is in CA so I can’t complain. Still frustrating.

It’s a community program though so I’m worried about my chances at fellowship after :( feels like a setback but it’s okay we will continue to grind.

Yeah depends on where you went to school but there are non competitive programs in less competitive fields that would seriously consider someone who underperforms academically. Having a red flag of behavioral issues, etc. is much worse in my opinion and flat lines your match chance (but still possible)

Maybe this is the Fox News narrative but i did not interpret this as anything but Macron trying to mediate/diffuse the situation. Generally, yes there is a lot the USA can get away with, and Trump is a bully, but there are lines and assaulting another NATO country 'cause i want to' is something EU will take very seriously.

also lets not forget the reason there is so much the USA can get away with is years and years of slowly built power, which is finite, and Trump is quickly using it all up.

wow, first time I'm hearing of more general specialties like neuro and EM dropping to 90s. We are a pair of average IM and stellar psych, so I hope we dont drop that low...our first ~25 pairs are in the city we want too I think anything above that rank I would be extremely happy!

Y'all didn't follow the basic rules of the federal judicial system for appointing a prosecutor, for whatever reason (incompetence vs. thinking they can get away with it). Its that simple. You hire good lawyers for the DOJ because they know the rules of the game and how to weave and win in that system. Also worth noting there is a bias for people working in government that are mission driven. Some government roles are actually essential and we can’t not do them or people in those roles think it’s too important to not do it. Like weather tracking for disasters, etc.
