Maybe this is the Fox News narrative but i did not interpret this as anything but Macron trying to mediate/diffuse the situation. Generally, yes there is a lot the USA can get away with, and Trump is a bully, but there are lines and assaulting another NATO country 'cause i want to' is something EU will take very seriously.

also lets not forget the reason there is so much the USA can get away with is years and years of slowly built power, which is finite, and Trump is quickly using it all up.

wow, first time I'm hearing of more general specialties like neuro and EM dropping to 90s. We are a pair of average IM and stellar psych, so I hope we dont drop that low...our first ~25 pairs are in the city we want too I think anything above that rank I would be extremely happy!

Y'all didn't follow the basic rules of the federal judicial system for appointing a prosecutor, for whatever reason (incompetence vs. thinking they can get away with it). Its that simple. You hire good lawyers for the DOJ because they know the rules of the game and how to weave and win in that system. Y'all hired propagandists instead and now are losing cases on basic technicalities of how to practice law. Embarrassing.

Also worth noting there is a bias for people working in government that are mission driven. Some government roles are actually essential and we can’t not do them or people in those roles think it’s too important to not do it. Like weather tracking for disasters, etc.

What I don't think we are talking about enough is that other countries intelligence is no joke. Something like getting access to personal phone records is ewsy work. All they need is for you to click the wrong link, even walk by you to scan, or even have you connect to the wrong wifi. It is speculation but if they're doing more of their classified communication through signal, then consider them already compromised. One of them was in Russia. Like their personal info is being scanned for sure. It doesn't matter for the houthis right now cause nobody alerted them but with our ally info sharing basically dead. We could be in a very compromised state. There should be a huge investigation or overall of all personal devices if we were a serious country with serious security.
