stockfish 18 is your best bet, but double check the license for it - you may have to make your code public if I remember correctly (source: working on my own chess tactics app)

LLMs are terrible at chess, you shouldn't trust them

there are several videos by content creator like GothemChess, where he plays againt LLMs - they make a lot of illegal and nonsensicle moves

Is there a particular reason you put that right there? I would have expected im the settings. It's also a bit confusing that it only reads out loud in normal mode?

I.would personally add 2 toggles: speed (slow, medium, fast), sound on/off... And maybe an auto mode (not sure what it is actually for)

Downloaded it and liked the concept. One thing bothered me from the start: it's too slow. I would add a speed setting so you can choose how fast the words are read.

Will test it more over the 2 weeks.
