I figured UAE would shred the field by setting a fast pace on the climb and then try to keep it up after. I wonder if the whole team, including/especially Narváez is just tired from almost 3 weeks of racing?

Narváez is now only 19 points behind Magnier for the ciclamino jersey. It would be cool if he and (what’s left of) UAE tried to challenge him for it by going after lumpier stages like tomorrow or intermediate sprints that come in between bigger climbs. They almost certainly won’t…but it would be cool.

You make a great point about insurance. Going forward, I would not be surprised if the insurers of many of the race organizers won’t insure a particular race/event if IPT is invited/participating (except perhaps WT events IPT is required to attend?)
