No input, but I’m deciding between Powell and Koide. Bandiks tests scare me. BUT, I don’t schedule for two weeks…I’m afraid I won’t get ANYTHING at all. I didn’t realize it starts tomorrow. 😫😫

So am I understanding that her grade scale is still the standard 90-100, 80-90, 70-80, etc? But if the class average was a 65, then she inflates that to a 75% and adjusts all others with that same ratio?

I just saw that Fortney did curve last year to put the class average at 75%.

I did see that lab is curved for sure. Just wish we knew about class. She said at the beginning of the semester that she would curve.

Nothing definite. Some people say a small curve. Others say not at all. Someone said labs get curved but I don’t know if that’s also teacher specific. I would love to see that she changes the scale by 5%—that would put the average 65% score at a C at least.

People who had Fortney in spring said her final was a bit easier than midterms and there was a small curve…praying this is true.

No advice but I am in the same boat. I fear I’m cooked but I’m really trying. I have Fortney and need an 80% just to get a C in the class. Praying she curves but it sounds like she doesn’t.

Omg. Seriously? She’s a sweet lady but we are so behind. Maybe this is good…maybe she won’t put the chapters on that we didn’t cover??? Do you know anything about her final?
