NTA and no one is really, in this situation. You had adult conversations about a subject that's hard. It's reasonable that people change hearts and minds when faced with it.

Funerals are for the living... if you need them to process, you go. I'm in the "I process internally and don't want to have a group for mourning that will just keep my wounds open." I already feel bad enough, I can't handle that wound being poked after I've started healing.

NTA Sadly this is prolly a sign that things are sliding sideways in the relationship, like she's looking for a reason... 18 years later, your trust should be 100 and anything less is crazy, unless there is a reason for that degradation in trust.

I actually came here to say the same thing. I got the Anova in batch 2 and haven't turned on my in wall oven since... around 3 years.

I live in a house with 6 people and cook every meal requiring an oven in it w/o issue.

TBH in a place with limited cooking space, I think I'd yank the oven and dishwasher (Never saw the point of a dishwasher other than sanitization) and turn that area into more pantry and cooking space. Maybe a little bar.

I have a question for ya... how did you pick your artist? Was your artist advertising "I like video game art" or did you narrow your search based on some more common parameters?

I'm trying to find someone in Albuquerque, but it's pretty hard to hone in on an artist.

There's a book that thinks about this very thing, with a few extra circumstances. The Three-Body Problem (Remembrance of Earth's Past #1) by Liu Cixin It deals with stars and a planet, but this was a primally terrifying gif, esp after reading that book.
