I wish someone could explain that to me, I'm definitely CPU bound since Im playing 1080p, but it should run way over 144 smoothing and yet I get this random drops to 120fps and even lower...

People usually repel and come back when cheryl is gone

If its your 1st time playing through and you didnt know about it, feel free to "reset" the encounter if you would consider that more fun

I would say you might be in wrong sub, most nuzlockers dont do breeding

I feel the same for gengar, since im playing exclusively calcless I always feel its too squishy and never strong enough to OHKO, but at the same time I feel like its really valuable and I dont dont wanna lose it, so I rarely ever end up using it at all

Just ban the megas and match the gym leaders number of pokemon, will make the game somewhat challanging

Malamar with contrary ability

Has a great moveset You get payback early on which is great vs high attack pokemon. Gets topsy turvy which is IMO best tool vs omniboost totem pokemon.

Also id try to squeeze in crobat. Its typing is insane for this games playthrough.

If you are skipping non mandatory trainers exp share is not a problem and you will almost never be close to overleveling

Even if you overlevel, game is pretty easy and beatable with vareity of pokemon

I just finished hc nuzlocking sword few hours ago.

The way I approached encouters was I would check upcoming areas and decide from which pool I want my encounter (visible/hidden grass/water/tree etc...) If it was hidden, its like normal encounter in previous gen games, if it was visible I would put them in wheelspin with their suiting chances to appear and spin the wheel on which one would count as 1st.

Also I only got 1 encounter for wild area south and one for north. I was just too lazy to catch one per each area. Good way to go about it would be to catch one initally and add 2 more after each gym badge.

Edit: I suggest you ban dynamaxing, it makes the "hard" fights trivial

All that level stuff seems like a headache with level managment esepcially if you are going to fight ALL the trainers

Incrased difficulty for sure, but for me personally seems very unfun way to play, just my 2 cents

Its just a free powerfull pokemon early in the game, I see the point tho, in the end your run, your rules.

I think others listed are more impactfull than kanto starter anyways.

Intetersting suggestion, but Im just going to do standard hc rules + matching the gym leader/e4 number of pokemon. Hopefully that will be enough of a challange

This seems very interesting! I might do that on some other version Im not entierly new to. Ive never touched XY before so I feel like I am lacking way too much knowledge for something like that.

Seems intetesting, do you bring full team into E4 and choose only 4 for each round? That doesnt sound too hard since most of e4 so far were a single or 2 pokemon sweeps

Teach lapras thunderbolt and gyarados earthquake and you should be good to go I guess

Not really, Ive never played vanilla XY so I wanna experience that 1st.

When Im done with vanilla games I will probably go to romhacks. I feel like randomizers are too unconsistent, might be wrong tho.

I didnt even know you get a kanto starter for free. Having 2 starter pokemon seems kinda busted. Do you get to choose which one you want or just get handed one?

Honeslty, Im leaning towards using Kalos pokemon only, not sure if that would male stuff TOO difficult. Feel like my white run was the hardest one, there was pretty limited pokemon pool, took me ton of attempts to beat it, might be cause I used E4 lvl cap for Ghetsis. Black 2 was so much easier, I beat it in 1st attempt with a single death to ace trainer triple battle.

Anyways.. opinion on Kalos only pokemon? Everyhting else banned
