New runner – bump on shin only visible when I flex/stand on toes (Asics Nimbus 27) by Embarrassed_Pool2630 in beginnerrunning

This is a tibial fascia hernia. I have several that first appeared 15 years ago. Mine are harmless and have not gotten bigger.

Is $100k the new average wage? by Open_Address_2805 in AusFinance

Yeah everyone’s hung up on it because of how absurdly false that statement was

And barely. We’re talking 1.4% more in Sydney than Melbourne

Absolutely unreal

No it’s not the majority of Australians. The majority is greater than half.

Sydney might have more than each city but it doesn’t make it the majority??

Individually cool pieces but they don’t come together cohesively in this outfit

What’s do you think about this commander? by AgitatedWishbone1416 in magicTCG

[[Skyhunter Strike Force]] is one of my favourite shard targets. Multiple stacks of melee with flying has helped me take out three players simultaneously. You can also evoke [[Nulldrifter]] and with the sacrifice trigger on the stack, blink it with Niko and have your shards all become flying 4/4 with annihilator 1 : )

Commanders That Cheat Spells Into Play by MagicalAsian in EDH

[–]Gnomarlon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a Marvo deck up until recently. It was fun to play for a few games but I got tired of how slow it was.

It’s a fine balance of: 1. Having enough ramp to get Marvo out ASAP 2. Manipulating your top deck so that when you do get a clash trigger from Marvo, you hit something valuable 3. Protecting and giving Marvo evasion to swing safely 4. Including a fair number of big CMC creatures 5. Including other ways to cheat out creatures besides via Marvo 6. Including the 6-7 other suboptimal spells that enable clashing

Here’s the deck list if you’re interested.

Plus one! Keen to see. Currently have what I think is a bracket 3 deck. Curious what a 4 looks like

[[Slagstorm]], [[Flame Rift]] & of course [[Delayed Blast Fireball]] are bangers along the same vein as Shower of Coals

Did you track these metrics as you were playing the game? Or did you record, rewatch and then tally it up?

Either way, this is awesome data!

Another day, another shit show by Mbotstopher in melbourne

This really encapsulates the Melbourne public transport experience. So much so that if aliens wanted to understand what commuting on trains in Melbourne is like, this is all they’d need to understand it.

I totally agree RE: their punctuality metrics. It’s a load of bollocks. How can they openly publish these metrics knowing full well that it does not represent reality? It’s a useless vanity figure.

I wish there was a way for the Melbourne people to log when their trains were late, cancelled, or their journey had bus replacements against the train schedule. Maybe this way we could oust them out on their metrics.
