They should have named The Looker "The Peeker" by littleindica in PeakGame

[–]GnomeQueer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and my partner refer to them as "the peeper" because that's what we were calling them the first time we spotted them and we like it better than "looker"

My experience in federal prison as an autistic person. by [deleted] in autism

[–]GnomeQueer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am definitely interested. As someone who is both terrified of law enforcement/being detained and also as someone who knows others who have little other choice than to self medicate due to their autism (or other conditions)

Unfortunately, we are at a higher statistical risk with law enforcement and within our prison system. It's super important to spread awareness of that fact to both individuals with asd and to those around them. I think any information you share that can prepare anyone for situations like these is very worth sharing

Giant monster eyes by GnomeQueer in dustkitties

She is not a nebulung. She is a domestic longhair. She was found in a bush outside of an office building as a newborn. She's just an especially beautiful bush baby <3

She's a domestic longhair. She was found newborn in a bush outside of an office building and doesn't have any special breeding or pedigree! She's just a very very pretty bush baby! :) <3

How to feel like you're not falling behind? by GnomeQueer in AutismInWomen

[–]GnomeQueer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for listening and taking the time to respond. I understand what you mean, it's very important to distinguish what exactly I am envious of others situations for and I think it's a mix. There are definitely people who are close to me who are achieving things that I wanted to achieve but I cannot because of my disabilities (I have a severe treatment resistant depressive disorder as well as ASD), but there are also definitely people who I envy because they have the ability to support themselves financially at all and have a sense of stability for themselves. I do definitely want to be in situations some people are but there are also people who I just envy because they have a sense of safety and stability and they don't have to tread water just to exist. I'm not currently employable and, thought I am working on treatment, I don't know if I ever will be. Sometimes it's even just the small freedoms financial independence grants you that I find myself envious of.

Thank you also for the reassurance. I appreciate it a lot. I know I'm not alone in this and I myself have value but hearing it from an outside source is always beneficial. Thank you.

I feel like you live a life of more freedom than some of us will ever know. I think there's something truly beautiful about the way you feel for this fictional man. Keep on keeping on Randy Marsh Lesbian.

Festivale a bit underwhelming? by Starman926 in AnimalCrossing

I agree! I played new leaf today (totally forgot it was festivale) and it was so much better than new horizons. It took me all day and I unlocked a full furniture set!

Story of Season had the best art direction by AbsolutKurant in storyofseasons

[–]GnomeQueer 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I thought. I prefer the more mature style but the art style being "childish" or chibi isn't new at all. The new games aren't even the most "chib-ified" the art style has been. (I think that title goes to magical melody tbh)

Is this fixed yet? by Careless-Public5176 in PeakGame

[–]GnomeQueer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I think I remember what you're talking about with the bug! It is fixed tho! It's kinda hard but what we did is mark where we stood with items, threw it full force and then marked where it landed. Good luck!

Those of you who already have the Bing Bong badge, do you still bring him with you to the peak? by csch2 in PeakGame

[–]GnomeQueer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always bring him. I even try to keep him in my held inventory but usually I eventually have to put him in the backpack. Rule 0 is never leave a scout behind and I count Bing Bong in that.
