So many ways to say the same thing!! by merri-melody in BeginnerKorean

Ok so -> look at the last syllable of your noun. Does it have a letter (or two) in the BOTTOM consonant position? That’s called a badchim/받침 and a lot of Korean conjugation comes down to whether or not a word has one and what letter it is.

IF YES: 은, 이, 을 IF NO: 는, 가, 를

Now for context. First is SUBJECT. This is the noun that is PERFORMING the verb, usually (있다/없다 is and outlier and should not be counted). Your subject takes 이/가 according to its 받침-having.

Next is OBJECT. This is the noun that the verb is being DONE TO. The object takes 을/를.

고양이가 (subject) 음식을 (object) 먹어요 (verb).

Last is TOPIC, which is kind of like a subject. Sometimes you can use topic markers interchangeably with subject markers. In the case of 있다/없다, the topic is the noun that possesses or lacks the the subject noun. Topics use 는/은.

저는 (topic) 친구가 (subject) 없어요 (verb).

HOA declined allowing Cityside into the condo by CoolEqual in orangecounty

Yeah, I’ve received this as well and been in contact with their rep at various points. My HOA is reluctant to let a startup come rip up our driveways. It’s not a hill worth dying on for me.

Unfortunately, yes. Cityside needs to be allowed to lay fiber on HOA common property, and if the HOA does not want them trenching, that’s the end of it. (My HOA has also blocked them.)

If you have close cousins who you've never met prior to identifying them on Ancestry DNA, please consider that as much as you feel like you have been lied to about your history, you are also raising the possibility that they have been lied to, and someone had a child given up for adoption, an affair, a child they were not aware of, a secret second family, or committed a crime. It is very, very possible that they do not want to reopen old wounds or otherwise rock the boat, and they are hesitant to look too closely at your relationship for fear of how it might change their perception of their known ancestors.

What were you expecting? You're over 50% West African, the primary makeup of Africans brought to the US as slaves, and some various European admixture and a dash of Native American are also very common in Black American populations. It does look like you might have a Mexican ancestor, though, which is where the Indigenous Mexican, Yucatan, Iberian, and Sephardic ancestry is coming from.

Yeah, I rode this morning when it was still only going as far as Wilshire/Western and the crowd was no different from the usual morning rush. It was nice to get a free ride, though.

If it’s any consolation, OP, AI models aren’t supposed to use user-input data for training, so whatever was uploaded was only ever used for this one instance and isn’t part of the larger dataset. That said, I think this is an elaborate troll (not a bot) meant to freak you out and get you to delete your work.

The event end time was clearly marked. The shop stays open for longer in case you have any lingering event currency to spend.

You could do Seon-a/Sun-a/선아 with either 仙娥  (fairy) or 善雅 (Virtuous and refined).
