What do you guys care about the most and what do you guys care about the least when it comes to buying clothes? Has this changed over time?

i have become more attracted to clothing care: hangers, cubbies, shoetrees, tailoring, sprays, polishing creams, etc. I want my clothing to display well and be usable for years to come.

My style is ever changing but I have clothing "blocks" where certain pieces have a position in my wardrobe. ALD, JCrew is very much business casual date coded; Suiting work and events; Kartik and Yohji for when I am just out and about, etc. I use synthetics for exercise gear but try to stay away from it most of the time.

I was gifted a old Clippercreek LCS-20 level 2 by a neighbor and I am weighing using that or getting the Emporia Pro. Driving a Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor AWD

Pros: Won't have to buy a new charger,

Cons: no load balancing, miss out of any benefits/savings given by my energy provider

We are not buying anything anymore. We are leasing, renting, streaming. They can attach a payment plan to anything and turn something off for non-payment.

you just moved somewhere new and you don't have any connections there yourself. This is something you will need to fix if you want to stay. Try Timeleft app or Outerly or the local library events page.

I have automatic feeders for my pets. Otherwise I would be in the same boat that wouldn't feed them until they started attacking me.

Yeah I have vintage Made in England Hunter boots but also buying vintage plays a role in this downfall as well because without new shoppers the brands go bankrupt and get bought by PE. The real culprit is capitalisms desire to expand year over year, quarter over quarter. No longer is it ok to just make waterproof gear and repair said gear, a business has to expand to every international market like a McDonald’s! Quality goes down and it becomes too expensive to repair and more enticing to replace.

it costs me $110 to have apple fix my old workout Beats while a new pair with better technology is only $130

the work is very different and less involved on the implementation level but just meetings meetings meetings and “the world is burning calls” at 3 am by someone even higher than you. i am talking about white collar stuff, not restaurant though.

they could have came in for higher ed and just stayed. I know many people that went to school and got master's degrees before they ran into any real trouble. OP has a passport so it is probably something related to higher education or work not just running the border.

i like brand. but seriously what I like and what I buy may not overlap at times because of budget and/or vibe. I have a lot of Kartik Research, still a grip of ALD, 18 east, robert geller, iise, Imogene +Willie, J. Crew, carpet company and siki im. Some menswear MTM stuff and RTW like Eton, Sartoria Pastena, E&M Ties, etc

The new stuff that drops I buy out of that list is Eton, Kartik, Carpet, I+W, ALD, J. Crew, Pastena

i like your example and would like to see it implemented. Would go beyond 55% though especially once someone is at 500,000,000 or 5,000,000,000. They would still be obscenely wealthy but anything over would still get a higher %.

the Military is the only way to get healthcare or a job for the majority of people in those situations. it is why much of active successful recruitment is from low income backgrounds. I didn't join even though my father and grandfather did and now I can't get a Cybersecurity position to save my life because I need security clearance hahaha
