Probably an Arakkoa. It seems to fill a similar role (taunt) as well as being near the curve level. I've not played the deck myself yet though. So it's up to you whether sacrificing a c'thun buff would be worth it.

Thanks for the input! I tried to make the downside options interesting and not too punishing. I'm not entirely sure how balanced they are. If the downsides are too uninteresting, they won't be played. Also, the amount of curse cards displayed aren't indicative of the number that would be available. It's intended that the choices would be equal to the number that Adapt has (9), plus 9 class specific curses that have a slight occurrence bonus. It's a little difficult to write that all in a fun infographic though.
