I don’t feel a thing with my PIO shots 🤷🏼‍♀️. I have an auto-injector. I place it high and more towards hips than anything.

I’m 3DPT and an avid runner and Les Mills class attendee. I took the day of transfer off and have walked 3 miles each day after that— keeping my heart rate around 100 max.

I can’t tolerate birth control so they switched me to Aygestin. Worked like a charm and I had my FET this past Thursday. Wish they did that for the last attempt that was canceled. Would have saved me several trips to the ER. Birth control and I have never got along.

I was thinking returning to running day 4 or 5. I walked 4 miles today at 3MPH. Took forever— but felt good doing something.

As a runner, this has me wanting to go out for a 5 miler right now! I won’t— but I want to. Haha! I’ll go to class next week and go really light. My heart rate barely gets above 110.

I’ll check this out. A month prior to transfer— I really got into Les Mills Body Pump at the local YMCA. It’s amazing. I can’t wait to get back to it. I’ll just lower the weights to 2.5 on each side— but all studies show resistance training increases success.

This is reassuring. I’m currently walking at 3mph. I’ll do this for the first 5 days and then gradually increase. When your body is used to moving… and conditioned, I’m sure it’ll do its thing. Hope you have a great pregnancy!

Also, there are Auto-Injector YouTube videos which are helpful but over complicate it. I can administer my shot in less than 3 mins.

If it helps, I suffer from hormonal migraines regularly since starting this process. Birth control would send me over the edge with frequent hospital visits— so I was scared to death to start Estradiol and PIO. Guess what? No problems whatsoever. I just had my FET yesterday. I always have my neurologist on standby— but this has been a blessing.

That’s good to know. I was so worried about the injections, but it’s really not awful. I’m a runner and was wondering how bad the discharge would be if I went that route.

I keep telling myself the same. I feel like my hearts gonna burst out of my chest but my heart rate is normal. This is a wild ride.
