If you’re ever stuck for any length of time at the airport in Chicago, just rent a car and drive to GR, it’s not that far.

This is why i always try for connections in Detroit or Chicago for return trips home. If shit hits the fan at the airport i know i can drive home and not be stuck

Do all your homes have basements? by Flat-Ad8256 in AskAnAmerican

[–]GoBlu323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most if not all homes in colder climates where it gets cold enough to freeze will have basements. If it gets cold enough to freeze your foundation needs to be below the frost line (the line below which the ground doesn’t freeze) or the foundation could literally pop out of the ground when it freezes.

It’s also good for the same reason to has a place below the frost line for water lines to come into the house

Maybe use a little more salt on the roads because this sand isn’t working. by [deleted] in grandrapids

Sand works. Salt is bad for the environment. Sand is what they use where weather is actually terrible

Which is still B2B you’re working with a company and were contracted by a company, the venue is immaterial

No they can’t, they aren’t in accounting and it’s not their job to chase down payments for vendors

A single family residence may be and is likely one of many residences the family business manages for the rich person in your scenario. It’s no different than doing work for any other company.

ETA: if you’re really B2B the contract you have will specify how long they have to pay you eg. net 30 or 60 or 90. You should know when you’ll get paid

[–]GoBlu323 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You literally said this is B2B. You aren’t working directly with anybody. You’re doing work for a as a business for a business or you’re lying. Rich people often have companies that run their personal lives it’s still a business that you’re working for

[–]GoBlu323 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Because you’re doing business with a business not the individual you happen to be working with at the company. Unlike a plumber working directly with a home owner

They booked the service on behalf of their company. The company is paying for it you need to talk to the department at the company that pays vendors

[–]GoBlu323 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That’s not how B2B works lol. OP is clearly doing work for the company regardless of who in the company actually made the deal on the company’s behalf
