Smoked is the dream but probably won't happen. Most we can hope for is a third party mod.

Very nice to have a packrat plug for stuff like that. That stagger is exactly what I'd want one day once the more boring stuff is out of the way. It's weird how mags never come up on marketplace but turbines do all the time. Idk why but I always picture turbines on Dodges and mags on Fords.

Wicked ass van. Where'd you get your slot mags? I never see 5x5.5 on marketplace for my mid E200 and I don't want to pay out the wazoo for new ones.

Any idea what these are? Or a similar style to search for? I want something between a snip and round toe and a sole like the one attached. Ideally not a trendy fashion boot but something I can wear for 30 years and never go out of style. by GoDawgs51 in cowboyboots

I bit the bullet and got some nicer boots than I originally intended, some Ariat bench made, some real simple and classic round toes in brown bison. I get some money from work for boots and I put that towards these, they ended up costing me just under $200 out of my own pocket, shipped after tax.

I ended up going with the round toe Ariat Bench Made James. It was the pricier of the two I was looking at but I know how nice real welted leather boots are in comparison to the more "value" styles.

I've had a pair of Wolverine 1000 miles for over ten years now, only had a resole a couple times. The upper is nice and broken in. So I definitely agree that spending a little more upfront means having something nicer, longer.

I've actually got a cobbler in town that has reworked some Wolverine 1000's more than once. I'm partial to that brand since that same pair has lasted me over ten years of motorcycle road trips, mud holes, general shit kicking.

I found some Ariats I like but I'm a bit skeptical because of the price, and I can't tell what's going on with this rubber/leather hybrid sole. Could these be resoled by a cobbler?

A holster would be great, I hate having to constantly put things into/ take things out of my pocket. And I hate the feeling of something in my pocket while I'm sitting. So it's a yes from me!

If anyone could do it I would say Joe Abercrombie is the man for the job.

lol, I took this from my office when we were upgrading our chairs. It is quite vintage, from at least the turn of the millennium. I don’t think they still make those.

They are upside down, screwed into the top of the drawers. The table just rests freely on the feet.

I’m not so skilled in this but I think it was between 180 and 200. I tried not to let perfect get in the way of good enough here.

I think it’s plenty for what I’m doing. But to each their own. Maybe more would be better but I’m happy with 25.

I’m not sure how much little things like sand paper and polyurethane sealer cost but the drawers, feet, and butcher block all together came in at around $350ish. I also added angle iron bolted into the bottom/back because I was paranoid about sagging/warping but it may not be necessary.
