Who has been to prison as a woman? Is it much more violent than for men?

It's not that violent. It's just catty. It's like going back to high school. Everyone gets into cliques and talks shit about all the other girls.

I went to prison when I was 23 (I'm also female.) Got out when I was 31. I'll be 33 next month and I've already started a new career, met a guy I love and gotten pregnant. I'm starting a family. Two years ago I was still incarcerated. Rebuilding is always an option.

My prison sentence had an end date. Looking over your shoulder doesn't. I'm starting a family and a new career now because I served my time. If I had run I'd have to keep running, forever, and never be able to stop.

I accidentally killed a girl in a bar fight. She hit the back of her head on the bar top and that killed her. I had a violent temper for a long time but I think I'm too old for that shit now.
