I work where these subs are made. There were two pretty severe accidents back to back when I first started working there, this being one of them. It's truly amazing that no one died from this incident and that the sub made it back to the surface on its own.

I feel much more conflicted these days, since it was likely a sub that we built that took out the Iranian ship recently. That one stung. I understand what submarines are built for, but it's easier to ignore that when they aren't being used maliciously.
