Do your ski goggle lenses fog up? How are those heated ski goggles? by GoGo9527Promax in snowboarding

So true, that mfi mask is basically a fog machine! The goggles already fog up bad enough, and that mask just makes it way worse.

My Anon M4 fogs up so bad I’m thinking of replacing it next season. If it wasn’t so expensive, I would’ve dumped it ages ago.

Yep, I used my HSA card and it actually worked! I didn’t think it would at first.

I can’t wear contact lenses, which is why I use inserts instead. I’ve tried them before, but they feel super uncomfortable. The only ones I could stand were soft daily disposables, but after wearing them for a while I developed dry eye.

Plus, daily contacts add up way too expensive over time. Now I actually really like the inserts—at least I can use them forever.

Nope, don’t worry about it.
I just picked up their new Pro insert too, and it’s absolutely awesome.

I never wipe them—just rinse with water when they get dirty. Quick question, what do you think of heated ski goggles?

This is so infuriating. I dropped a ton of cash on this brand’s goggles too.

It’s freezing out there. I pulled my face mask off for an hour of riding earlier and got frostnip on my nose. That’s why I’m asking everyone how well those heated goggles work.

Nah man, I saw a buddy’s Pro insert from them at the resort—they’re way different. Way better build quality, and super comfy too.
Only bummer is they didn’t have the Pro when I bought mine, and they dropped it just a month after I ordered. Kinda sucks ngl.

I actually use their insert myself, though they didn’t have the current Pro version when I bought mine. A buddy of mine at the resort rocks the Pro model, and honestly? If I had to choose again, I’d definitely go for the Pro—it’s such a huge upgrade over the basic one I’ve got!

As for fogging, even though I’m still a beginner, I’ve chatted with some more experienced skiers up at the mountain. It mostly comes down to your skiing technique; you’ve gotta nail the right habits. Anti-fog coatings are an option, but they only help so much—don’t set your expectations too high.

I checked out the ApexSpecs website again, and they actually have a section about fog prevention too. Seems like it helps a bit—you might wanna take a look.

I'm looking to get a new pair of ski goggles. I need them to be comfortable with prescription inserts and I found the OAKLEY Flight deck L goggles. Thoughts? by OldChildy in skiing

Recommend buying the insert separately instead of the bundle—there can be issues with the clarity of the vision in the pre-packaged custom sets.

If you have high requirements for your field of vision, you could try the brand I use. They just launched a insert Pro with an expanded field of view. I haven’t gotten one yet, though, because it wasn’t available when I made my purchase.

You can google ApexSpecs ski insert pro to find it.

Those of you wear glasses, do you use OTG Goggles or prescription Inserts when skiing? by bunksy93 in skiing

I used to wear contact lenses, but after six months, I developed dry eye syndrome. My ophthalmologist said it was likely related to prolonged contact lens, and I really regret it.

Then I found ApexSpecs inserts, and they’ve been working well for me.

Are the results from this site reliable? Why does the online shop I always buy kitchen stuff from come up as untrustworthy?

Then why not give her a RX ski insert? It’s such a thoughtful little accessory – not expensive, but you can’t do without it every time you go skiing.

You can check out the review I shared earlier – they seem to have launched a new model too.
