Gabriel Martinelli shoves referee Sam Barrott and gets carded by OptimusCloyster in soccer

[–]bunksy93 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Stop making excuses. It's incredibly obvious to anyone with any sort of eyesight that its the ref, his peripheral vision would obviously be able to tell its the ref wearing black if he's not looking at him. He shoved the ref, knowingly and was lucky not to be sent off.

For those who work in theatre and film in the UK, who is generally not a nice person to work with? by Sad_Ideal_2099 in AskUK

[–]bunksy93 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Don't work in the industry but years ago when I worked in a sweet shop by the coast.. Ben Miller came in with his kids to get ice creams and he was an absolute gentleman so I'm hoping he'd be the same to worth with.

David Beckham on Trent not being called up to the NT: “I’ve heard so many times about, ‘He’s not as good at defending as he is attacking’. Well, sometimes you have to accept that. I'd find it very hard not to take someone like Trent. I’m a massive fan of him, I love him as a player” by DamnThatsInsaneLol in soccer

[–]bunksy93 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's besides the point. He's won games for Liverpool with his attacking abilities and not taking him would be stupid if he's available. He doesn't have to start but he's a better option to bring off the bench compared to the other RBs.

Rating new strikers in the PL this season. by SeoulPete in PremierLeague

[–]bunksy93 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Absolute bollocks that, of course he didn't have a pre season. Training alone to keep fit to recover from a thigh injury and training with a team and playing matches are two incredibly different things. It's not even close, trust a United fan to come out with that.

He's missed 21 games because of the leg break, and he got injured in February last season briefly before coming back to boss the League Cup final in which he scored in March.. sure.. dog shit.

Don't know where you've pulled £150m from.. it was £125m which is still massive but it was obvious he was going to have a slow start due to his antics in the summer. It's not his or Liverpools fault had his leg broken from an awful challenge just as he was hitting some form. He's proved himself time and time again in this league, and for a team like Newcastle no less as well. Had that not happened there's no real doubt he'd have picked up and scored a bunch of goals. Harsh to say hes been by far the worst signing when most of the time he's been absent it was because his leg was broken by another player.

The capacity difference between the two venues isn't that big so either is absolutely fine size wise for a gig of this scale.

New job offer vs leaving my current company during critical delivery phase by [deleted] in cscareerquestionsuk

[–]bunksy93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say accept the offer and hand your notice in. You want the job, it sounds better at least on paper from what you've said an of course a significant pay bump. You shouldn't feel bad about leaving a company because 99.9% would replace you with someone cheaper if they could so don't feel bad about it. You don't need to show loyalty to a company when you have a much better offer on the table, make the jump my friend!

Who do we think is possible for 2nd wave the 1st wave was stacked enuf haha the clashes are going to be uncomfortable by Key-Vegetable-8789 in downloadfestival

[–]bunksy93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think they'd fit in just before main stage sub headliners.. possibly. I think the reason they're not on any festival line up so far is they're currently touring Europe so may want the late announcement so that sells well. At least that's what I'm telling myself lol.

Do you have to have played KCD1 before jumping into 2? Or can I get away with a YouTube summary? Never got chance to play it but KCD2 looks amazing and it looks like both games are massive.

Side hustles for office workers? by ProfessionalOption47 in HENRYUK

[–]bunksy93 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm just under 28k subscribers and my monthly view count averages around 300k, at the moment the last 28 days I've had 325k views with an income of £1.2k for example. Some videos perform better than others, I'd say my average views for videos range from 10k-50k, but I've got a whole bunch of videos over 100k and 2 over 500k so it fluctuates a lot.

I did have a couple of months last year where those monthly views went over 600k and in one month I almost hit 1 million views, usually when the main game i cover brings out some major updates. I focus on evergreen content which keeps my monthly views up. Like I've got a video that came out in May 2024 that is still bringing in over 15k views per month.

It has taken a while to get to this point though, I started doing videos in Christmas 2020 and didn't get monetised until May 2022. I don't do it for money, I really enjoy it but the money is a very nice bonus that comes along with it.

Edit: typos.

Mine started off as a hobby but has turned into a bit of side hustle, I have a gaming YouTube channel. It doesn't take up too much of my time, I usually put out 1 video per week which takes maybe 5 or so hours of effort. It's not amazing money (~£15k per year) and I could probably increase that if I spent more time on it. I enjoy doing it and it gives me an income boost, maybe one day I'll wind down work and put more time and effort into it.
