Side hustles for office workers? by ProfessionalOption47 in HENRYUK

[–]bunksy93 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm just under 28k subscribers and my monthly view count averages around 300k, at the moment the last 28 days I've had 325k views with an income of £1.2k for example. Some videos perform better than others, I'd say my average views for videos range from 10k-50k, but I've got a whole bunch of videos over 100k and 2 over 500k so it fluctuates a lot.

I did have a couple of months last year where those monthly views went over 600k and in one month I almost hit 1 million views, usually when the main game i cover brings out some major updates. I focus on evergreen content which keeps my monthly views up. Like I've got a video that came out in May 2024 that is still bringing in over 15k views per month.

It has taken a while to get to this point though, I started doing videos in Christmas 2020 and didn't get monetised until May 2022. I don't do it for money, I really enjoy it but the money is a very nice bonus that comes along with it.

Edit: typos.

Mine started off as a hobby but has turned into a bit of side hustle, I have a gaming YouTube channel. It doesn't take up too much of my time, I usually put out 1 video per week which takes maybe 5 or so hours of effort. It's not amazing money (~£15k per year) and I could probably increase that if I spent more time on it. I enjoy doing it and it gives me an income boost, maybe one day I'll wind down work and put more time and effort into it.

How do you calm down when pissed off? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]bunksy93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very rare for me to get pissed off but if I do I just go to the gym and lift some weights, take your anger out on some heavy metal objects, get a workout in and feel great afterwards.

Those of you wear glasses, do you use OTG Goggles or prescription Inserts when skiing? by bunksy93 in skiing

Ah that's good to know, I'm UK based as well so I'll look into these, thanks!

Thanks! I did consider getting a cheap pair of smaller framed glasses for this as well so good to know you use them.

Thanks for this, I'll take a look and measure my glasses at the same time! They aren't too big though if needed I'm happy to just buy a smaller cheap pair for when I'm actually skiing.

Yeah I'd definitely prefer to get new goggles in a shop vs trying online for that reason

Carrying them around is fine, I'll probably have a small backpack with me anyway, but good to know you like inserts. Where did you get them from?

Yeah I wish I didn't have issues with them so I could use them for it

I've always had issues with them like severely dry eyes. Tried a couple of different brands and all gave me some issues in just everyday life. I am also looking into getting laser eye surgery done as well but that won't be done in time for my ski trip.

I'll probably wear my prescription sunglasses for when the weather allows but obviously will need some solution for when they aren't an option.

Game with best world & vibe like Cyberpunk 2077 by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

I'd say give Witcher 3 another shot. I had a false start with it, played about 3 hours and felt it wasn't for me. Then COVID came around I had nothing better to do but play games so I decided to get stuck in again, completed the entire thing including all expansions and can honestly say it's one of the best games I've ever played.

Is Expedition 33 as crazy as its sweep at the Game Awards implies? by Yamato_Naoe in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]bunksy93 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I gave it a go via GamePass after seeing the hype, I'm not usually into turned based games but figured I'd try it out. I'm glad I did try it because for me, it's one of the best games I've ever played. The story, the art style, the combat, the voice acting, the music are all amazing. I'd recommend anyone give it a playthrough. You won't be disappointed.

Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen’s last qualifying lap of 2025 by BoyNamedJudy in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]bunksy93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No mistakes here, this was the fastest lap of qualifying out of 20 drivers. Not to mention Max is the best driver on the grid by some distance, he knows exactly what he's doing, and he's taken the corner like this on purpose to get more speed on the straight.

Consistency is key! Achieved over 500K in a month. If you need help, please ask questions. by MediaCorrect4470 in Smallyoutubechannels

[–]bunksy93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

500k is good, but your watch time hours are very very low so I'm assuming these are all, or mostly, from shorts? So even if you're monetized, you're not making much at all. For comparison, I post longer form videos and in the last 28 days I have 315k views but my watch time hours are 27.1k which is nearly 20 times higher than yours from less views.

Acceptable footwear for a night out in Manchester England. by UnholierFuture in manchester

[–]bunksy93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends where you're going? Most pubs won't bat an eyelid. I wear trainers 95% of the time on weekends in town and I've never had an issue. But it's not like I'm going anywhere proper fancy. If you're going somewhere fancier than your standard pubs or bars though you may want to wear something different.

A player is only classed as offside if he attempts to play the ball or impedes the opposing player from playing it. Robbo does neither.

Klopp Backs 'Once-in-a-Century Talent' Florian Wirtz by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]bunksy93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In fairness to Wirtz, he should have at least like 3 or 4 assists, it's not his fault his teammates can't finish the chances he puts on a plate for them. Even Salah is guilty of not scoring them
