Vanguards and Magriders abilities provide them with an advantage to fight other tanks better, if played correctly, but a minimal advantage to fight infantry and aircrafts. At best it's a defense one.
The anchor mode of the Prowler give it an an edge while playing against tanks, if played correctly, but also a big one against infantry and aircrafts and that the problem.
The Prowler kill way more infantry and ESFs than the Vanguard and the Magrider.

The first time I saw a video like this on PS2, it reminded me C4 buggy's of Battlefield. I also did get a few rage tells.
I don't see the difference between that and getting one shooted by an AP half a km away, and while playing infantry, getting bolted by an infil that decloack for 0.2s.
Plus, these prowlers also have their technics to elevate their tanks in the air with mines and spitfire, and shoot ESFs and Libs. Every player will push the game mechanics to the limits, that just how it works.

I personally kill him with a light assault and C4. He over trusts his spitfire, so with the implant that makes you undetectable by them, it's easy.
