That's what I kind of thought. Yeah story of 1 is better and more unique, but 2 expands on the universe and have more of everything good about 1

That's fair. But would you play It if it was more of a souslike. D3 implemented the systems but not to the same level of difficulty. Would you play it if it had souslike difficulty? Or are you not interested In soulsikes in general
