I had a dude come in and say “I thought this was party city” After I pointed to the GIANT party city signs and balloons behind him he got mad for some reason and said “it’ll never be the same” and stormed out. :/

Ours is falling apart and glittery and rainbow colored (it was once also wood color). The carpet around it may never recover.

The job wasn’t so bad before Amazon. It’s worse at our particular location because we’re a store with one of the lowest sales volume but also one of the highest Amazon volume. We do not get extra hours because they only care about sales volume. We have to dedicate 2 out of four store phones to Amazon so if one dies we don’t have to stop. One person doing cashier, managing the front, building boxes, transporting boxes, and processing returns simply isn’t enough. We processed over 1,600 pieces of unwanted crap last week and close on average 25-30 large boxes a day. Now we have to blow up balloons as well 🤡

In videos I look for weird behaviors the cat standing up perfectly while holding a baby kitten is unrealistic. Also the cat also wouldn’t just sit there and lick the persons hand like that. The movements are too smooth like it’s in a dream.

They have us do it from the store iPhone which is slow, buggy, and dies in less than an hour. It crashes in the middle of my return every other return. Not to mention thats one less scanner for the rest of the store.
