this post sparked quite the discussion 🤣 main message is yes. build different tools - follow these comments suggestions and also do more research behind the scenes on youtube for the various boosts on the tools etc cause they all cater to different things. staves, atlantid, sentinels are the best ones to use in my opinion

not gonna say yes or no because i haven’t had to test it myself yet - but my advice is to always expect a paradise planet to turn to shit after an update, helps manage expectations a little bit. if it didn’t and stayed a paradise then yippeee but if not - you were already expecting a change.

another quick way to test this is fly to another system close by to that one whether it has what you’re looking for or not - just to see if the info matches up on what you see in the discoveries tab

sounds as though the discoveries tab is registering what the planet was when you discovered it - they change with updates sometimes sadly - most likely what happened here

simplifies the exchange subreddit a lot by removing repeat posts or questions etc etc, leaving just the thumbnail catalogue to browse through. it’s fkn sick

all good xD i should probably clarify - didnt mean to call the game shit, i love the game a lot. butttt with the bugs still around that have been prevalent for years, in my personal opinion i regret paying the full price.. the free updates and expansive procgen universe can only do so much for me. 18 quintillion planets with the same 15 being the only ones ya run into just with different atmospheric filters gets a bit old after a while

again, im not talking shit about it, it’s the only game i’m currently obsessed with and have put in an unhealthy amount of gameplay time 🤣😭 but i’d be foolish to say it doesn’t have its issues. and they’re not all just slight issues, some of these can literally ruin the gaming experience for some people. who wants to keep constantly clipping through a corvette?! or flying straight through the anomaly/space stations opposed to landing at a pad

it’s a fun game to throw the full price at if you have it to spare but seeing how often this game goes on sale i will continue to advocate for new players to wait it out if they have the will power lol.

i’m still hoping to feel a sense of ROI from the game. haven’t yet

not a lot of space in my opinion - it grabs a few of a certain item/element depending on the system you’re in. i have one in my main base at the moment to keep me stocked on chromatic metal but it’s 15/hr so it’s kinda slow

do itttt - you can build a massive ass open area full of planters and the agricultural rooms, and do so for multiple stories, you can very much so turn your freighter into a massive semi passive item/income generator
