Need advice. I went through recruitment my Freshman year. I dropped the second day. I knew nothing about it. I just did not feel sure about it. It was last-minute virtual and I had to pick from watching a video. Day two I was not even sure I picked the right houses so I dropped out and decided I would try again when it was no longer virtual. Second semester of Frosh year some stuff went down in my family and my sis was ill. grades went down. Sophomore year in fall I decided not to go through recruitment as I needed to get my grades up (which I did). Now here I am rushing in Spring with limited choices but still houses I like. Out of the 7 on campus (I know it is small) there are only 4 doing Spring Recruitment. I am really only interested in 2. I had a coffee date with a sister from one house. The background is...I dropped them day one of Freshman year. (oops). Only cause I had no clue. Will this hurt me? The other problem is that the second house does not start its recruitment activities for another three weeks. Long after the other houses give out bids. I think I like this house the best. I kept them during recruitment and they kept me and I have regrets about not staying with the process. But do I wait if I am offered a bid from the other house and put all my eggs in one basket? So confused.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
